Service agreement
Clear expectations.
Better cleaning.
Requesting and confirming a booking creates an agreement between the customer and UrbanPeopleClean under the terms below.
Payment before service
The full confirmed price must be paid before the cleaning appointment begins. A booking is secured after availability, scope, price and payment are confirmed.
Cancellation notice
Please cancel or reschedule at least three full days before the agreed cleaning date. Contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.
Clear working space
Customers, household members and visitors should not move through rooms while they are being cleaned. Please keep the active cleaning areas clear.
No interruptions
For safety, efficiency and a professional result, distractions or interference with the cleaner’s work are not permitted. Necessary instructions should be given before work starts.
Access and preparation
The customer must provide safe, timely access and remove personal clutter or obstacles that may prevent the agreed cleaning work.
Scope and extra time
Bookings are for 3 to 8 hours. Any additional time must be agreed in advance and may require a separate charge.
Arrival window
The cleaner may arrive up to one hour before or after the requested appointment time. We will communicate significant changes whenever possible.
When time starts
The booked cleaning time starts when the cleaner arrives at the cleaning location and is ready to begin, provided access is available.
Requested photos
We may ask for property photos to assess the scope of work. Please provide photos only when requested and avoid including people or sensitive personal information.
Regular cleaning preparation
For new regular-cleaning customers, we recommend a Deep Cleaning first. Subsequent Regular Cleaning visits can then maintain the agreed standard.
Transportation outside Leiden
A €50 transportation fee applies to every cleaning service located outside Leiden. The fee is shown in the estimate before the booking request is sent.
